The Professor was really lacking in this episode. As an adult who is friends with Eri, whom he knows is a law-abiding lawyer, it would not make sense for him to suspect her. It would have been better if Genta said it or something. The Professor is supposed to be smart, even if he isn't a detective, but this was too stupid for him.

i think Haibara should get Prof. A to make her a glove like Conan's magic sneakers so she can slap Genta even HARDER next time. hot. bubbling. simmering. curry. on Ayumi's FACE? i know, plot armor, they can't show something traumatic like that happening to a poor little kid... but THIRD DEGREE BURNS on any exposed skin she didn't protect with that huge stock-pot lid?
